Amida (Arman) Yousefi is a postdoctoral research associate at the University of Oxford’s Department of Chemistry and the Kavli Institute for nano science discovery, working in the Benesch Group on advanced single-molecule biophysics and proteomics technologies. She completed her PhD in Nanotechnology at Nottingham Trent University within the Advanced Optics and Photonics (AOP) Group, where she worked on plasmonic optical nanotweezers to study ferritin proteins at the single-molecule level, contributing to innovative approaches in biomolecular sensing and dynamics. Her research has resulted in publications in leading journals including ACS Nano and Nano Letters. At Oxford, her research focuses on integrating mass photometry, single-cell analysis, and microfluidic technologies to develop next-generation label-free platforms for investigating protein structure, molecular interactions, and biomolecular dynamics with high sensitivity and precision. Amida is also a postdoctoral fellow and Senior Member of Christ Church College, Oxford.

Dr. Boris S. Gurevich was born in 1948 in Leningrad, USSR. He graduated Leningrad Electro-Technical Institute in 1972. He also got his PhD degree in physics in mathematics in 1980 in Leningrad Polytechnic Institute , and Dr.Sci. degree in technology in Institute for Analytical instrumentation, Russian Academy of Sciences, in 2006. Also he lectured in St. Petersburg University for Airspace Instrumentation as a professor of Medical radio electronics department, from 2007 to 2019. Now he is a head of laboratory in Institute for Analytical instrumentation, Russian Academy of Sciences, St. Petersburg, Russia. His area of scientific interests includes optical information processing, information transmission and losses in optical systems, acousto-optics, multispectral image processing, and optical devices for medical diagnostics.

Yuri Pusep has been an Associate Professor and Head of Semiconductor Laboratory at University of São Paulo, Institute of Physics of São Carlos since 2001. After completing his PhD at the Novosibirsk Institute of Semiconductors in 1985, he was a postdoc fellow in Prof. M. Cardona group at the Max Planck Institute in Stuttgart. Yuri Pusep’s current research interest is focused on the single–electron and collective properties of semiconductor nanostructures, which are studied using electron transport and optical spectroscopy techniques. In particular, it includes magneto-transport, micro-photoluminescence and micro-Raman scattering on the micrometer scale, and time-resolved measurements. He has published more than 150 scientific papers

Jan Masajada is a researcher in the field of singular optics. His primary research interests include metrological applications of phase and polarization singularities. His work encompasses optical vortex interferometry, optical vortex microscopy, vortex polarimetry, and optical manipulation. He is a founder and leader of Singular Optics Group (SOG)

Dr. Henrique Patriota Alves is Brazilian, received his B.Sc. in Physics (2014) and his M.Sc. (2016) and Ph.D. (2020) in Electrical Engineering from the Federal University of Pernambuco (UFPE), Brazil. He also completed a postdoctoral fellowship with the Brazilian National Agency for Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels (ANP) between 2021 and 2022. He is currently an Adjunct Professor at the Federal Rural University of Pernambuco (UFRPE) and a collaborating professor in the Postgraduate Program in Electrical Engineering at UFPE. His research focuses on photonic devices and optical fiber sensors, with experience in finite element modeling and sensing applications for corrosion, gases, magnetic fields, temperature, refractive index, etc. Dr. Alves is a member of the Brazilian Microwave and Optoelectronics Society (SBMO), the Brazilian Robotics Society (SBRobotica), and the Brazilian Physical Society (SBF). He has published in high-impact journals in instrumentation and photonics and serves as a reviewer for leading international journals in these areas.

Dr. Suraya Ahmad Kamil is a Senior Lecturer at the Faculty of Applied Sciences, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), Malaysia. She obtained her PhD in Chemical and Process Engineering from the University of Leeds, United Kingdom. Her research interests encompass rare-earth materials, ultrafast lasers, nanofibers, thin films, nanomaterials, optical materials, and photocatalysis.

Professor André Luiz Sena Guimarães is a Professor at the State University of Montes Claros (Unimontes), Brazil, where he is affiliated with the Graduate Programs in Health Sciences and Computational Modeling. He received his DDS, MSc, and PhD in Molecular Biochemistry and Pharmacology from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG) and completed his Postdoctoral Fellowship in Cell Biology at The University of Western Ontario, Canada. His research focuses on translational medicine, integrating molecular biology, oncology, regenerative medicine, biomaterials, tissue engineering, and photobiomodulation. His work aims to identify molecular biomarkers and develop innovative therapeutic strategies for head and neck cancer, tissue regeneration, radiotherapy response, and regenerative aesthetic medicine. His recent investigations also explore tumor metabolism, hypoxia, radiosensitization, extracellular matrix remodeling, and precision medicine. Professor Guimarães has authored more than 300 peer-reviewed scientific publications, with over 45,000 citations and an H-index above 40 across major international databases. He has coordinated numerous nationally and internationally funded research projects and currently leads the Head and Neck Cancer and Regenerative Therapies Research Axis at the Center of Excellence in Health Research (CEPS/FAPEMIG). From 2019 to 2023, he served as Vice-Rector for Graduate Studies at Unimontes and previously coordinated the University's Graduate Program in Health Sciences. He currently serves as Guest Editor for international journals, including Cancers and the International Journal of Molecular Sciences, and is an active reviewer for several high impact journals in oncology, pathology, molecular medicine, and regenerative medicine. His current research interests include radiosensitization, photobiomodulation, cancer biology, oxygen metabolism, regenerative biomaterials, molecular therapeutics, tissue engineering, and artificial intelligence applied to biomedical research. Through translational research, he seeks to bridge basic science and clinical practice to improve patient outcomes and advance precision medicine in oncology and regenerative health.
